Tutorial Session, Equipment Requirements And Scheduling Tutorials
- Each teaching session (“Tutorial”) is for a time period of 60 minutes or longer.
- The Tutorial may be carried out face-to-face or online using a pre-determined online platform.
- The Tutorials are charged on an hourly rate (as detailed in our website) and thereafter in the slots of 30 minutes.
- The Tutorial will be conducted between the concerned Tutor and the student (the “Student”). The parents of the Student may join in the Tutorial session, but may not interfere with the teaching process.
- A Tutorial session (date and time) will be booked online by the Student on our website.
- Once a Tutorial session has been booked by the Student, the concerned Tutor, by way of confirmation will send an email/text message to the Student, which the Student will respond to either by email or text message or by any other electronic media. If the Student fails to respond within 6 hours of receiving the message, it will be presumed that the date and time of the scheduled Tutorial session is reconfirmed by the Student.
- The Student is to keep track of its Tutorial session, and the concerned Tutor is not obliged to issue any reminder for the same, once the same has been scheduled. Any reminder issued by us or by the concerned Tutor may be by way of courtesy.
- Online Tutorial sessions are carried via screen-sharing and online interactive whiteboard facilities.
- The details of the hardware, software, internet speed and cookies requirements for conducting an online Tutorial session are detailed on our website.
- It is the Student's responsibility to ensure that their systems are sufficiently compliant to conduct the online Tutorial smoothly.
- The Student clearly understands that neither we nor the concerned Tutor own or control these factors, and therefore cannot to be held liable for any issues associated with the aforementioned technology involved to carry out the Tutorial session.
- Should the Tutorial session face technical issues which prevent the Tutorial from being effectively carried out, the concerned Tutor at its sole discretion (exercised in good faith) credit the balance time of the Tutorial session, to the account of the Student.
Cancellation
- A Student (or the Student's parent/guardian) may cancel/reschedule a Tutorial as per below:
- If the same happens 24 hours before the scheduled Tutorial, the Tutorial will be rescheduled to a mutually convenient date and time.
- If the same happens less than 24 hours before the scheduled Tutorial, the Tutorial will be not be rescheduled and the same will lapse and no refund for the same will be provided.
- The concerned Tutor may cancel/reschedule a Tutorial as per below:
- If the same happens 24 hours before the scheduled Tutorial, the Tutorial will be rescheduled to a mutually convenient date and time.
- If the same happens less than 6 hours before the scheduled Tutorial, the account of the Student will be credited with a free Tutorial session, with the concerned Tutor.
Late Attendance Or Non Attendance
- A Tutorial session shall commence at its scheduled start time and will end at its scheduled end time.
- If the Student is late for a Tutorial session, that loss of the time will be to the account of the Student, and the Tutorial session will still end at its scheduled end time.
- If a Student fails to attend a scheduled Tutorial without cancelling or rescheduling the same as per above, then the Student will be charged for the full duration of the scheduled Tutorial time.
- If however a Student is unwell and could not reasonably have known about its inability to attend a scheduled Tutorial session 24 hours before the scheduled Tutorial, the concerned Tutor (at its sole discretion exercised in good faith) may reschedule the Tutorial with the Student, with no loss to the Student.
- If the concerned Tutor is late for a Tutorial session that lost time will be compensated by the concerned Tutor either it the scheduled Tutorial session, or in the next scheduled Tutorial session, at the discretion of the concerned Tutor.
- If the concerned Tutor fails to attend a scheduled Tutorial without cancelling or rescheduling the same as per above, then the account of the Student will be credited with a free Tutorial session, with the concerned Tutor.
Payment
- For a Tutorial to proceed:
- it must be prepaid; and
- proof of payment, be forwarded to the concerned Tutor.
- Payment must be made to the following bank account:

- Payments can be made by way of a bank transfer, credit card, payment gateway if provided on this website.
- Proof of payment be forwarded to the concerned Tutor. The proof of payment may include a screen-shot of the transfer, confirmation email by the bank or the transfer of the payment be made, in the online presence of the concerned Tutor and has to be to the satisfaction of the concerned Tutor.
- The payment of one or more Tutorials can be made at any time.
Refund Policy
- Under no circumstances will refunds for prepaid Tutorials be issued.
- If any prepaid Tutorials are not used, and a period of more than 180 days has elapsed, since the last Tutorial was conducted, any remaining prepaid Tutorial will lapse, unless the Student has informed the concerned Tutor (in writing via email) within this period.

- The contents of the Tutorials are not connected, approved or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate Organization or any university.
Copyright
- Material provided during the Tutorial session, if any, including text and images, are protected by copyright law and is copyright to us unless credited otherwise. It may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast or transmitted in any way except for the Student's own personal, non-commercial use. Prior written consent of the copyright holder must be obtained for any other use of material. No part of the same may be distributed or copied for any commercial purpose or financial gain. All intellectual property rights in relation to the same are reserved and owned by us unless credited otherwise.
Results
- The Tutors make no guarantees that a Student will achieve a specific grade/score attainment in the IB overall, or in the IB subjects so tutored or will be accepted into any university.
- Neither us nor any concerned Tutor, under any circumstance, can be held liable, for a Student failing to achieve a specific grade/score attainment in the IB overall, or in the IB subjects so tutored or gain admission into a university.
